Job Summary:
Experienced services oriented project manager responsible for an ongoing, cyclical business initiative. Marshalls staff resources consisting of clerical employees. Project manager is responsible for resource training and development, implementing new processing solutions and enhancing existing processes. Capable of adapting and flourishing in a highly challenging and dynamic environment.
Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Project Management of all projects/tasks within the team consisting of:
  • Creating project plan.
  • Leveling project plan.
  • Timely achievement of milestones.
  • Proactive variance analysis.
  • Working with functional areas to plan and manage daily schedules for cyclical business process.
  • Directing day-to-day operational aspects of a project.
  • Interfacing with functional areas to manage and estimate expectations and deliverables.
  • Controlling all hand-offs within and across the team.
  • Promoting and contributing to the improvement of development methodologies.
  • Managing process adherence.
  • Mentoring and formal/informal training of team resources.
  • Motivating and energizing the team to achieve corporate as well as team goals.
  • Managing resource utilization, productivity and internal prioritization of tasks.
  • Conducting risk analysis, minimizing exposure and planning for risk mitigation.
  • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Trending and management of quality and productivity metrics.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • BA / BS required.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • 3 to 5 years project management experience in a services environment.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability as an individual contributor with a record of delivering consistent results in a matrix structure utilizing resources outside direct management chain.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring development staff.
  • Record of commitment to organization, clients, team, and project performance.
  • Interactive / hands-on management style.
  • Commitment to the quality process.
  • Results oriented project management.
